Day 312 was a busy golden Friday. Sheldon and I enjoyed our day off but were very busy. at 10 am the flooring guy and the hardwood rep arrived to inspect our floor. They deemed the lifting hardwood an issue and are coming up with a plan.
Sheldon had to run to town at 10:30 for an eye appointment and found he does indeed need reading glasses. I spent much of this week scouring the internet for a dog, there are many out there but none seem to meet up to "Marty" who was to be part of our family by now.
At 1:30, Wendy arrived to assess and give Nightbird a equine massage. We found her hip out and soreness in her back. Plans for correcting this are now in progress. Sheldon was kind enough to take notes for Britt who wanted to miss school to see this.
above is the table and below is the cloth color we chose, called Sahara
After school Shaina had her eyes checked and found she too needs glasses..look out health spending account.
Once Britt arrived home on the bus, she jumped in the car and off we went to the city. First stop was at Southern Music LTD to pick out the pool table cloth color we have been putting off for weeks. Once this was chosen we made a stop at the home sense and grabbed a mirror for the basement bathroom and a lovely vase. Then it was off to Costco to stock up and that we did. Sheldon met a fellow wanting to buy our extra HP computer power cord only to find it was a guy he knew from his baseball hockey days. Small world for sure. All this shopping made us hungry so at 8 we headed to Tony Romas for ribs, delicious! We arrived home at about 9:30 to do the dreaded unload and re-bag meats to freeze. Shaina had friends arrive for a girls sleepover. Emily, Kate and Breanne and Shaina zumba'd and giggled into the wee hours. Coco however kept me up thru the night after eating half of a jumbo toblerone Sheldon had stored in his nightstand and later in the night she found left over ribs Shaina had scarfed down, downstairs. Her sickness lasted a few days after this high dose!
