Sheldon took the day off to trench the water line to west pasture and the Telus line to the highway.
note this was taken thru the dirty skid steer window :-)
I came home at lunch after grabbing a bottle of wine for the short ribs with wine and cream I had planned for supper. One problem, the wine opener was packed but not to be foiled.. I got it out with a steak knife!
Then I ran lunch out to the hard worker only to find that the dogs had gone missing. Apparently they tried to follow him on one of the trenching adventures. Sheldon rode around on the quad then jumped in with me and we toured to nearby neighbors to see if they wandered. No luck so I dropped him off at 2:30 and headed to town to see if there was any calls from someone finding them.
the trencher attached
run for power to yard light
run power to future water reservoir on north side of garage
and trenched area to run a water line
the septic field Rick back filled yesterday
Not long after, Sheldon called to say they had returned rather tired. This delayed the trenching and changed my entire plan. I was going to plant some trees but after coming to town decided to do stuff here. Creating my laundry room plan, doing some actual laundry and then I needed to get some of the gorgeous sun so I tackled the overgrown tree area at the town house.
before and after
Sheldon ran the trencher back to Calgary at 5 while I finished up the ribs. However Shaina was at work and Britt needed to be ran to her first day of training for her new job. Supper was foiled :-( I ran to pickup Britt at her friends and run her to the arena, stopped at the old house to get mail and chat with Tim, ran supper to Shaina at the gym and chat with Lynda then get back home to eat all alone. Well it was delicious, if you want melt in your mouth ribs, try this recipe.
Sheldon arrived back home at 6:30 and enjoyed his supper too and took the rest of the night off to relax and enjoy some time on the couch. Britt worked until 7:15 then hit the couch to watch TV and Shaina worked until 9:30 but then stayed to work out till 11.
OK I have a survey.. should I raise my washer/dryer or run the counter across the top flat all around my L shape?
