Day 133 - hot tree moving and painting day

Day 133 started early again although I had hoped for a wee sleep in day, not! Up at 8,  S and I headed to Tim's :-) and off to the ranch where he took the skid steer over to Matt's to auger a few holes.
While he was gone I weeded the south lot of trees to prepare for moving. Once he got back we got busy drilling holes for where we wanted to plant trees. We had used text a search via Mom and Amanda. They got the info and we augered.

here is our layout plan not counting the tower polar in the middle
and our first mystery tree planted, it grew in my flowerbed volunteer
 the north side plan
 and the south
different angle.. but can see Sheldon auguring the 3ft spaced holes for the lilac hedge
Daisy had to have a nap after all that running this w/e, poor girl
at 1 we headed to town for lunch and to pick up the girls. On the way back to the ranch we stopped to get 3 gallons of primer for the girls project of painting the garage

Sheldon and I went to dig some trees with the "girls"
here is where he tucked away the "Grandma" trees
 the girls look on
 then we grabbed
 loaded and ready to roll
after a few hours of planting and digging and now watering
 north rows
south rows, but when we got home Mom phoned to say the distance between rows was wrong.. UGH.. there went a day in the sun but at least the Grandma trees are planted right
girls painting away getting the 3 harder walls done
Sheldon loaded the auger and the drift wood "mantle" log up and at 6 we came to town for a delicious supper, showers and then the packing began. Another successful day building the ranch! .. if you don't count the tree dilemma!
