Day 98 - Happy Heritage Day! How did you spend it and the week end? At the ranch, an early start found maverick taking aim!
and the gopher was down
then off to prep the garage floor
while i cordoned off the lawn and brought in the lawn mowers
back in the garage there was dirt scraping and leveling
Rob was already on site when we got there and had started framing the basement, this is Shaina's room
and the guest room
and the utility are and bathroom
garage raking, note the nice rake
decided we needed another lawn mower so grabbed one more
little more raking
and then this casualty.. while doing more skid steer leveling, s decided to modify the rake with the tire
we ran to town for lunch and after, Sheldon prepped a bit more and then loaded in the gravel. Shaina and I took horses for a ride as it was only 24 and much more bearable to ride mid day in.
here is the stucco trailer dropped off the other day with the switched out after noon lawn mowers
Shaina was pleasantly surprised to see her walk in closet and room framed already, gosh Rob works fast
here is south end after lunch
and the north end
and the east side, almost all fully framed. Shaina headed back out to fill water tubs and work with baby while we gave the Paetz's a house tour. Lots had changed since they were out last when it was just cement basement and some joists on
serious Asher
and then a big smile for Mom.
since by then it was six we headed to town, picked up Britt from the rodeo to get home and finish packing and started supper.
After supper it was back out for Sheldon to continue on the garage floor, Britt to ride her ponies and me... weeding trees and plants. yes there are trees in there
here is a better view but it was getting dark will fine tune another day but at least we can see them
side view.. looking better but see there is some loss in Sheldon's great tree planting :-)
