Day 116 - super busy day at the ranch

Day 116 - another EnCana Friday which allowed both Sheldon and I to work on the fence. If we can get the top rail on it will keep in the "mature" horses at least until we can get the lower rail on. Bright and early we rustled Britt and Shaina out of bed, quick stop at Tims :-), and out at the ranch by 9:30. The place was a beehive with the soffit guy telling the eves trough guy where we wanted stuff.

The drywall guys were starting in the garage for the scheduled garage door installation today.
the girls unloaded poles ahead of us as we resumed the top rail assembly.

Then they headed out to ride some horses. Shaina on her 3 yr old filly Baby
And Britt on 4 yr old bandit, a pacer from the track
Polox coach Leslie came out for a wee fitness ride and rally the troops.
I decided to clean the bathroom :-) much better, it sure gets dusty in there
The garage doors arrived and a neighbor stopped to introduce herself which was great as I was hoping to talk to her about riding on her land.
 fence done by lunch

Sheldon and I, along with  Shaina headed to town  at 1:15 with a quick stop at the dump much to Shaina's ire. she had to get to work at 2 so was feeling rushed. We made lunch, stopped to get a cement drill and then went to UFA to get another 125 rails. Back at the ranch by 2:45 where Grama & Papa were there to see the changes. Sheldon visited and worked thru farm stuff while Britt and I trimmed Beck's feet. We all sat in the sun had a beer and chat.

The garage guy found he had been sent the wrong hardware so we are now on the list again for him to return to finish but at least this give the cabinet guy a place to work starting Monday.
Sheldon and I got back to the fence finally about 5 and worked till 7:30 adding another 50 rails to the fence.

the missing area above is a broke in the ground pole where we will have to re pound in a new one

Britt helped by putting rails ahead of us ready for another day. We headed to town to enjoy a nice hot meal of deer sausage, scalloped potatoes and peas cooked by Kaylin, thanks Kaylin, that was awesome!!
