Day 114 - Britt takes the hay down

Day 114 was a slow day at the ranch. Only trade was the soffit guy working. Yes there is a ton of soffit and fascia on this baby!  Britt was out at 9:15 swathing. Sheldon was off to Dr appts in the am. The inspector managed to get out and pass the home to date. I took lunch out at 1:15 for Britt and I.

Once she started back up, just seconds after this above shot, she hit a rock bending a guard so we waited for Sheldon to come repair it in order for her to carry on.
The ener-spray fellow came out for a walk-thru. Sheldon headed back out to grade road and ditches in preparation to plant grass and trees

this guy loves his skid steer and all the accessories
I swept the house yet again and cleaned up trash as well as snapping photos.

 front deck heading south
 Andy the soffit guy
 deck to north
Britt's nice rows, compliments by the trade guys on straightness, she tells me she only wobbled when texting :-) said after September 1 she can't text and drive!
finished south by 4:30, just has south end to finish
my tidy sweeping job. I even vacuumed in between corner wall areas and along 2X4's!
At 4:30 we headed to town for supper and reload diesel jerry can - sure could use a slip tank, 5 gal at a time is painful!
Sheldon had to take the opening round on the winter pasture cause he misses it
but is proud of Britt taking on such a big job
and she does a great job at that, look at that sky!
We met with Tony the tile guy and then Sheldon left to put gas in the swather, next thing I know he has the grader back in action. We were going to put up more rail?!?!?!?
but he was enjoying grading the yard which was needed too
the sky was crazy, the photos do not do it justice
Miss Daisy loves a photo op
my dueling machine lovers, now S is grading the trench line and putting top soil back. It looks so much better, things are moving right along although the list never gets shorter.
at about 9, Sheldon jumps back in after Britt finished the winter pasture to do around the north end of the house. Just about then the wind picked up and we knew it was home time. Blog update, shower and a cold drink.
