Day 125 - Hot paint, ride, dirt moving Sunday

Today, Day 125 was another 29+ hot day at the ranch. It started fairly early for a Sunday off. at 9:30 we started loading up the trailer to take boxes out to storage. Once we loaded up all we had boxed we went to get some paint at Home hardware.
At about 12:30 we got to the ranch and unloaded all the boxes
Then I went off to give Ju his last does of meds while Sheldon unloaded the truck box full of "shop" goodies. I painted all the white light and power boxes dark since the stucco guys come back Tuesday.
electrical boxes before and after, note paint was really wet in this photo

and light boxes, this is a dried paint color

while i painted outside the mudder and his wife showed up and put a few hours into the garage and gave us a bonus of painting the ceiling in the garage. Britt is going to try and paint the garage.
Britt and Sheldon went to bring mac home after putting in another tank of diesel and priming all the lines.
Britt then took Julio for a ride while Sheldon worked at removing top soil and moving to another area and prepare for building up the area near the pit that we need to still pound posts at.

this process took a very long time as the battery died after load 2 so it was slow, load 3 was near painful

but here is after load 2 leveling, load 3 we dumped on way out of the gate heading to town for supper.

After supper, Sheldon and Britt went out to the family who purchased our house to look at some large pine poles for a pole barn or bale storage building, I stayed home to pack and blog. They joined the packing crew when they got back as well, another productive day at the ranch!

I hope this weather stays forever but we do need rain, which is forecast for Wednesday, Back to school day :-/
