Day 179 started early. At 2 am a phone call from Kaylin found her locked out of her apartment and needing a warm bed after her shift at work. The night was already disrupted sleep but at 7:30 am Sheldon's alarm went off waking him to head to the lab for blood work. No more sleep for me but I did manage to lay in the warm cozy flannel sheets playing words with friends till he returned with a hot chai tea from our favorite store. The fog was socked in like mushroom soup.
Up and at it now, we loaded up the dogs and Calgary pickups. We stopped at AFSC with a loan application as they are offering a great rate, thanks for the tip Craig. And then off to the ranch.

The house was full of people, Dan the HVAC guy was finishing some tasks, Matt and his helper were hooking up electrical outlets and the panel, Rick and his helper were hanging the boiler and we met with Greg the new painter to discuss a plan.

While Sheldon moved from guy to guy chatting up the past and future work, I installed the LED bulbs, the last deck pot light & bulb and the 2 directional mini pot lights and bulbs over the fireplace.
By noon all were gone but Matt and Stan and they went for lunch so Sheldon and I came back to town to grab a snack and beer as well. By now the fog was lifting and the sun actually came out at 1 pm
After lunch we ran to Totem for more light switches for he fellow working and dropped tires at a tire place for Enclave appointment next week. Once back at the ranch, Sheldon took skid steer and filled last part of the Telus line at highway and graded the road wile I continued to install pot lights and fan covers. Now all deck, main, basement & shower pot lights, all 55 are in with bulbs plus the 5 fan covers.
Only Stan the assistant electrician worked the afternoon putting in all power outlets. The outdoor coach lights were installed at the front door by S but when we went to test then before installing the other 3 we found the pump power was disconnected. I went out to check and all the horses were nickering their discontent with all water receptacles bone dry. Sheldon was able to temporarily restore power making them very happy.
It was now 6 pm and hunger was felt so back to town we went. Britt was waiting at the house after her sleepover. We ordered Chinese food and while waiting I had a shower and checked email and banking. Finally at 7:20 the food was ready and on the table and tasted great.
Sheldon hit the shower then we all watched PVR shows relaxing and enjoying cold beverages. Kaylin stopped for her passport for ID at a concert in Calgary as did Mom dropping off potatoes and a few other items around 9. Tomorrow is my parents 45th anniversary, CONGRATULATIONS you two!!! love you XOXOXO
