Day 163 - sickness in the house

Day 163 - was a gloomy overcast day which threatened to rain but never did until a brief sprinkle at 5:30. Sheldon stayed home sick in bed. I ran the girls to school then to work. At lunch after the advice of Coreena and Sharon to check out Sears since I liked my last set, I drove to the new sears store where I found this lovely little set, Kenmore Elite in Night Sky Blue

I then Made lunch for sick Sheldon then ran to PJ's to see their stock as I have to decide on a set by tomorrow so Dustin can build the cabinets in the room. A stop at the flooring store to find back splash, here are a few choices, note colors did not come true
 this is slate
 this is white tumbled travertine
this is a crazy basket type fun glossier one
and this one is hard to see but a dark striated long narrow tile which I thinks wins out at this point
the final stop was at the Home Hardware to grab a can of paint for the half bath in my favorite color, BM Polar Sky.

While I was doing house stuff, Sheldon sat at the emergency room and finally was seen after 3 hours, sent off with antibiotics prescription he picked it up , came home at 4:30 and went to bed.

Back to the house to nail down prices for washer & dryer and start the blog for today. Steel head trout, mixed grain rice and sauteed zucchini was the fabulously delicious supper I created for Britt, the sick fellow and I. Shaina worked 4-9 tonight so missed it but plans to indulge when she gets home. After supper Britt created a hair mask she sported for 2 hours topped off with a nice face mask. After supper Sheldon hit the tub and bed hoping to sleep this illness off. I continued to research direct drive Vs belt driven washers, perused pinterest for ideas and had a hot bath while reading House and Home magazine.
Her hair mask recipe...
In a bowl, mash the banana, then add 1 tbsp. honey, one egg and half a cup of flat beer. Mix it well with a fork, then smooth in generously over your scalp and coat the length of hair. Tie your hair up, and cover with a shower cap if desired to avoid any mess. Let the mixture soak in for at least 90 minutes, then rinse off with clean water. The banana and egg nourish the hair, while the honey moisturizes and the beer provides volume and thickness.
