adjusted the waterer again since it was overflowing, prepped the ditched with the box grader for grass seeding this week and then drained the weed sprayer. Since he was on foot, the good owner of Stout Acreage Implements even provided free pickup! Can you imagine that kind of service? Well this place does and always with a smile. In exchange he received a free house tour by Sheldon :-)
4-H, held at Cloudwalker this week, was behind a bit and this was the week we were early!! Mark that on a calendar folks, we were there at 5:55 and lesson slated for 6:30 were delayed until 6:45, this left Sheldon in the dark a bit longer but he was lucky, it was a bright lovely full moon night. And talk about nice day too, it was still 17 degrees at 6 pm, We will take this fall!
KD has recently cut her back left leg so this gave the girls time to hose it down.
At 8 we headed to the ranch where Sheldon informed us Rick and new helper showed up at 7:30, hooked up a huge light and got busy putting in the master shower. This guy has quite the work schedule LOL but he is getting it done in order for the drywall guy to come install the cement board in the shower next. As I unloaded horses and Sheldon unhooked the trailer, Shaina hosed KD leg again realizing she left the spray at the arena, so off we went to grab it before forgotten, plus we need it for the healing process.
By now it was 9 pm when we arrived back at the town house. Britt hit the shower, Shaina changed to go get help from a school mate and Sheldon and I enjoyed a beverage and chips and salsa.
