377 sunny sunday for day 2 of extreme trail

Day 377 was much nicer getting up to 17 degrees and sunny from the start, not a cloud in the sky. I was up making tea and Sheldon reading his Hunger Games book by 9. Mom was up soon after so it was coffee time which did not fare well as the fine grounds ran all over the counter top creating a mess. Slowly the girls got up by 11 and later (Shaina & Shannon). Mom helped me catch the horses and worm and sort them back into correct pens. Britt came too and finally the 2 sleepy heads. It was then time to load 4 horses up and head out stopping to grab Shelby and off to day 2 of the extreme trail clinic.

We arrived about 12:40 and the girls were back in the arena from 1-4:15, They enjoyed the challenges and getting the horses to try it. Britt and Pepper found many new challenges and even decided to leap over the bugs life leaves at one point. Britt came in second being beat out by 1 point! Mom, Amanda and Asher came out to watch some of the afternoon. To watch there runs, click links below.

I loaded up all the horses and girls dropping Shelby off at 5 pm and then home. Sheldon had gone to the city to pickup Kaylin and Aaron from the airport, arriving home from Puerto Vallarta. He managed to stop at Costco to get Diego more food and us a bit too. He arrived home around 7 and enjoyed some of our supper of fish and pot stickers.
