Day 298 started early getting girls off to last day of school. It is golden Friday for Sheldon and I which allowed us to finish up odds and ends. He ran the horse trailer to town where it is going to have repairs made at the welding shop after the tire shop guys used the running boards to jack up to change tires! :-( Of course he had to grab teas! :-) Dad arrived at 10 am with horse trailer to take Jessie and Bandit and try them out. Amanda and Asher joined us all for a great visit and celebrating of Dad's 70th birthday this Sunday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
Sheldon ran Coco over to Stouts for the week, THANKS Stout family for always great care of our pets. They are watching the horses too. I caught and loaded horses up at 12:15 and Dad was headed back east home. Amanda took Asher to town for a nap and is returning at 3:30 to drive us in to the airport. Darren has kindly offered to retrieve us next Saturday!
Sheldon ran back to town to take garbage to the dump and do some banking before catching a nap. I tidied up and kept adding things to suitcases and carry on bags. I also did a bit of accounting and blog reading and updating of this one. It will be a week of no blog but we will have lots to share once back home. Dale and Vance are staying here tonight as Vance has a hockey game tomorrow in nearby town.
Once the girls get home it will be load bags and change clothes and off we go to the airport. Our plane flies out at 7:30 pm and arrives with time change in Jamaica at 4:55 AM! bet we will get a shady palapa on the beach that early! :-)
