Day 289 was a fantastic weather day. It ended up plus 5 or something with full sun. I took the afternoon off to meet with Birgitta to give me lessons to fine tune my equine barefoot trimming skills. What a fabulous day for 4 hours outside. I learned a ton. Meantime Rod the drywall guy came and did more wall adjustments.

After a nice warm supper of hamburger goulash made by Sheldon at 7 when we finished up, Mom and Dad, Amanda and Asher came out for a visit and to fill us in on stories from their trip south. This is Asher's new smiley face!
Day 290 was a bit cooler. There as a fire at the feed store so we took a detour to school, on the detour we saw Britt's bus had slid in the ditch! Yikes, apparently it was to avoid a head on with another car. However she was back in action by after school and got Britt home safely.
At the house, Rod came and sanded the theater walls. After school Shaina and Yanni headed to COP to board then she went to Emily's to prepare costume for Friday night jungle theme party. As Britt fed Bird her snacks I trimmed her feet. When he got home from work, Sheldon took a bale out and rolled it out over by the trees as suggested by Birgitta. The horses were very happy. This will also give them more exercise and be better for their feet.
Britt had Caleb over to watch movies and later Brooke joined them and she stayed for a sleepover. Sheldon and I enjoyed a relaxing evening with him even going to bed early to catch up on missing sleep.
