The Ranch House: Day 294 & 295

Day 294 was back to school and work for all. It was a dreary looking day, so sad compared to yesterday. At lunch Amanda so kindly did my nails and toes with the professional gel overlay. I ran many errands including groceries and treat buying before heading home by 3:30. Shaina worked her last shift at Warehouse till 6:30. Did I say she gave her notice last week? So she is down a paycheck but has some more time to juggle. Britt fed Bird just after Sheldon got home and we changed to head to the city for our Valentines date. Half way to Calgary, the snow started to come down and it settled right in dropping a couple inches but stayed only -4 so bearable. A place called Bookers Crab Shack has been on Sheldon's mind so he made reservations for us for all you can eat crab night. We then went to the movie "The Vow". It was a good romantic Valentine movie. Back at home Britt began working on her 4-H speech. Shaina planned to but the freak storm prevented Shannon from coming up to work on it.

Day 295 was actual Valentines day. Shaina worked after school till 5:30 then was off to a flames game with a friend and not home until 11. Kaylin joined us for supper of her favorite, chicken! Sheldon and I started getting suitcases out and packing a bit then we all watched "Face Off" a reality TV series of makeup artists. Kaylin headed home just before Shaina arrived home. Britt continued to work on her speech while we watched.
