Day 296 & 297 - packing continues

Day 296 found us all schooling and working. After work I stopped at Walmart to stock up on sunscreen and Off as I was informed that there are fire ants causing grief in Negril. Then a detour to pickup Ultra Kelp for the horses which was suggested for their feet. Back at the ranch Britt was making food for Bird and working on her speech. She is nearly done, which is great since public speaking night is the Tuesday after we get back from Jamaica. When Sheldon got home from work, he loaded up the bale feeders on the skid steer as we sold them in a matter or hours on kijiji. The rolling out of the bale is working very well and sure makes less waste of the hay, more movement of the horses which is better for feet and health and it also distributes the manure far better. Constantly there are learning curves and lessons thru a constant desire to learn more.

Shaina the constant butterfly was off to the city with a friend to see the movie, The vow. Laundry and creating yet another delicious meal of family favorite  deer sausage and pasta served with roasted beets, peas and the every yummy avocado /tomato salad followed by blog updating, packing and accounting rounded out my night.

Day 297 - was a lovely day. The 3 girls all went together for pedicures after school to get pretty toes for the trip. Back at the ranch it was last minute packing for all. Shannon came over so she and Shaina could get their 4-H presentation together. Britt had finished up her speech so I printed out for her to fine tune. Everyone is very excited to head out tomorrow for JAMAICA!! Riu Tropical Palace awaits us!
