Day 272 - Sunday Funday closet & mirrors

Day 272 was a lovely day weather wise, perking up to -5.  Britt was up and needing a ride to work by 8:30, Dale and Vance were off to another game by 9:15. Sheldon brought back.. a tea :-) and some exchanged shelving. After attempting to put it in we found the new shelf was close mesh for pantry so that project was on hold. Mya was busy chatting as her and I played with her new birthday gift.

We also sorted out what we needed for more closet assemblies and project. After a quick lunch and the list in hand. Dale got back and stayed with kids while we ran to town. Britt said pickup at 1:35 but actually they were her instructions to leave the house then so she would not wait. This back fired as we were there at 1:30 and after waiting 15 minutes and finding out she worked till 2 we headed to Totem to get supplies. Armed with new shelves, hooks and boards for coat racks and bags of screws we did a quick pickup of B and were back to the ranch by 2:30.
Vance enjoying the big screen :-)

The kids all helped Britt make feed for Julio and Bird, then Britt drove "Gertie" to get a bale. Now it was the actual feeding time and Mya proved quite a help holding Julio and opening gates. :-0) Before his long drive home I offered Dale a cold beer from the new beer fridge only to find it was beer slush! seems Sheldon thought higher numbers were better :-) Frozen gallon of milk and 2 dozen eggs and a ton of beer is now froze solid so we had to warm them by the fire. Only in Canada!!

Around 4:30 he made the trek to Oyen. I was creating a delicious supper of roast pork and scalloped potatos, roast sweet poptatos and salad. Sheldon continued the front closet project. Shaina arrived home from the chemistry prep cours around 6 and we all enjoyed the Scrumptious supper. The girls scurried downstairs while the next project was to install our bathroom mirrors.
