Day 96 - Hot and sunny fencing day

Wow, bright and early it was already warm, Sheldon, Britt and I were at the ranch by 8 am to catch Pepper and have them at the gate by 8:30 where stouts took her to her first payout Cowboy Up Challenge in Cochrane. They had a day of trials but in the end Britt placed second winning $70 and Shelby third, Way to go girls!!

Sheldon and I then started the daunting task of pounding posts down the newly constructed road. It actually was fast once we had a system in place.
 progress early in the day
a wet corner the grader dude could not fix, as you can see still very boggy but "Gertie" carved a path
temperature soared to 31 causing removal of some duds
ran to town for gas, subway and another bundle of posts, here being sawed open
we then moved to the south side near house, at the house the plumber and HVAC fellows did theirs jobs.
when the CUC girls returned we stopped for a "beverage" break to discuss days events. Clearly we still needed much more time to pound poles so we kept the pounder for a few more days. At 4 we headed to town for a quick shower. Craig picked up Sheldon and headed to Ag grounds to set up for running of the bulls. Travis picked me and Britt up later and we met Amanda and Asher. Lots of entertainment at running of the bulls and the chucks followed by a good social time at the Paetz home.
